About us
Established in 2017 with the vision of connecting worlds, a team was formulated to identify existing institutions and resources in order to maximize everyone’s success.
To date we have volunteers and workers engaging with visitors to Israel, offering free services while in Israel, and connecting them with resources of interest once back home.
We:
● Offer Shabbat meals as well as an organized Shabbat Experience for groups.
● Offer Bar Mitzvahs on demand at the Western Wall
● Help visitors, who can’t get enough of Israel, find extension options
● Keep up with thousands of visitors who voiced interest in returning to Israel for future opportunities such as internships, volunteer work, Israel activism, Israel advocacy, and many more
● Constantly look to improvise and offer better and more fitting programs to the wide range of people visiting
Directed by energetic and resourceful personalities, we have successfully implemented our initial goal of connecting worlds many times over. Our objective is to continue adding value to existing programs as well as an awareness of the many follow up opportunities available. Recognizing the popular interest of Taglit participants anticipating a spiritual experience while in Israel, CONNECT formulated a program to cater to this need. Situated in a charming, ancient Arab homestead in the heart of Emek Refaim, participants engage in a preliminary team building activity then jump into an immersive educational exercise that encourages personal input and opinion. This experience is an all-around ‘Blast’ wrapping fun, education and Jewish identity all in one!
